Mr. Sivalingam Nagaratnam

 

Our old student Sivalingam Nagaratnam (Rasa), Illavalai passed away this morning in Toronto. He was the husband of Jegajenany, father of Sivajini & Harini, father-in law of Ramesh Ganeshalingam & Gary Anandasangari and grandfather of Ganatheepan, Priyadarshini &Biravi. He was the founder member and president of Tamil Eelam Society of Canada and Richmond Hill Ganesh Temble.

He was also brother of late Puspamalar(Jaffana), Thevikamalar (Colombo), and Kirupalingam, Kirupamalar, and Pathmamalar,and brother in law of Vairavanathar, Kasinathar, Pathmaranee, Kugatheesan, Janarthanakumar, Jegaradchany, & Nantheeswarar. He was also nephew of Arumugam, Sivagnanampikai, Sivayogamathy (New Zealand) and cousin of late Ilamurugan & Ilanko (New Zealand)
